The Theatre Tent

The most popular reason for working with us is our ability to manage all the steps necessary to create a tented venue at
your location.

The advantage of our tent system is its well thought out design and integrated features that are impossible to find elsewhere.

Hire the tent and equipment or bring in our experience to get your tented event organised.

Most of our customers choose both.

A Unique Purpose Built Event Space

Created by us for the Royal National Theatre's of "Oh What a Lovely War", the theatre tent is unique to the UK. It has been designed to create a very special atmosphere. Design features enable it to be warm and cosy in the winter and yet feel cool on a hot summers day.
Seating 600 people the whole design works to create an intimate space where no one is ever far from the action, enabling the whole audience to share in the show together.
Hundreds of thousands of people across the UK have seen shows ranging from Eddie Izard to Verdi's Requiem, Circus to Church Services.

The Bollington Festival

The Bollington Festival has won the 2005 RBS, Arts, Business & Community Award

Attracting 20,700 visitors to 78 events over 17 days, this "Festival for All" enabled company employees and the local community to engage and participate in the arts.

Chris Bennet the event organiser said:

"we could never have done this without the Theatre Tent team. They managed licensing, staffed the venue throughout our festival and of course provided their amazing tent as the focal point for the festival. The majority of the 20,700 audience came to events hosted in the Theatre Tent. This award would not have been possible without them."

The Theatre Royal

At the end of 2005 we were granted 3 years planning consent as a tented theatre space for the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds christmas productions. We also became the first tented event in the UK under the new premises licensing scheme.

Over 28,000 people attended over four weeks. Audience feedback work by the Theatre Royal's marketing team revealed that for many of the attendees, the tent in Nowton Park was an attraction in its own right and that people had been surprised by how fantastically warm and cosy the tent was, which is pretty impressive as this was during December and January. The Director Colin Blumenau also commented that he thought the tent was an excellent theatrical space and was looking forward to creating next year's show for the tent.

We are back this Christmas, in the mean time here are some great shots of the tent at Bury.
